Self-Regulation. Executive Function. Lifestyle Support

Kids

Ages 2+

My goal is to help your child develop the skills, confidence, and strategies they need to grow and succeed.

Through engaging, play-based activities, we work on the sensory-motor, coordination, and self-regulation skills that prepare them for success in school and everyday life.

Every child develops at their own pace, but sometimes delays or differences in motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, or emotional regulation can make everyday life more challenging than it needs to be.

You might notice your child struggling with handwriting, cutting with scissors, using utensils, tying shoes, or keeping their balance during sports and play. They may have a hard time planning out steps for a task, following verbal directions, staying on task, using both hands together, or keeping their body in the right position for writing or sitting at a desk.

For some children, low frustration tolerance, activity levels, and challenges adapting to situations makes it difficult to stick with activities that feel challenging, leading to avoidance, meltdowns, or a drop in confidence.

These challenges can impact not just schoolwork, but also independence, relationships, and self-esteem. As a pediatric occupational therapist, my role is to help children strengthen these foundational skills in a way that feels fun, supportive, and achievable. Through engaging, play-based activities, I help kids improve fine and gross motor control, sensory-motor coordination, sensory processing, executive functioning, and visual-motor skills. We also work on emotional regulation, frustration tolerance, and problem-solving—giving your child tools they can use in real time to feel more capable and confident.

My goal is to set individuals up for function, success, and participation in all areas of life.
